Witchcraft as a Religion, Classes in the Cabot Tradition
Witchcraft III (a Religion) will begin April 30, 2010. This class will last for a year and a day.
These classes are for those who have successfully completed Witchcraft I & II.
The classes will begin with a review and continue on with advanced work, in preparation for third degree initiation.
There will be assignments and paperwork, as well as required reading. Two important requirements of these classes are that all students must attend all eight Sabbats and that all students must also have a goal they are working toward upon completion of their studies. An example of a goal could be working in the healing arts, teaching, etc. There also will be some time required for community service. The time frame for this class will be one year and one day.
Upon completion of study, students may then petition the Cabot Council of Elders for initiation. A review and decision will be considered and each student will be made aware of the final decision.
All classes require advanced registration and space is very limited.
A 50% deposit is required upon signing up with the balance paid at least two weeks before the class begins.
Please be advised that there are no refunds.

In the Celtic traditions, the four tools are the four treasures, the four hallows or sacred instruments from the four fabled cities of the Tuatha De Danannan. Ancient traditions believe that human beings possess not one soul, but multiple souls, each embodying a different part of consciousness. Belief in soul anatomy can be found in the writings of the Celts, Saxons, Egyptians, Hebrews, Voudouns, Siberians and Hawaiians. Healing and empowerment involved the balance and harmony of all the souls. Part of the work of the mystic is to forge the Soul Body, unifying the parts into the magickal vessel of consciousness that transcends death. Explore the soul crafting found in the traditions of the Witch, including the development of the Fetch, the Faery Lover and Alchemical Marriage, Overshadowing and the Soul Gate.

The Internet Sacred Text Archive - free copies of all sorts of texts having to do with magic, folklore, Paganism, and lots more. The search function is really wonderful on this site.
